Civil / Structural Engineer
Responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of foundations and support structures for offshore wind turbines. They ensure that these structures can withstand harsh marine conditions, including strong winds, waves, and currents, while maintaining stability and durability. This involves performing detailed analyses of seabed conditions, material properties, and load distributions to optimize designs for safety and cost efficiency. Their work is critical to ensuring the structural integrity and longevity of offshore wind farms.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
Additional Requirements:
Expertise in designing foundations and structures, particularly for marine or offshore environments, is valuable.
