OT / SCADA Engineer
Responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and Operational Technology (OT) networks that monitor and control wind turbine operations. They ensure the reliability, security, and performance of these systems, enabling real-time monitoring and seamless communication between turbines, substations, and control centers. This role involves troubleshooting system issues, optimizing network performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards for cybersecurity and operational efficiency. By integrating advanced control technologies, OT/SCADA Engineers play a critical role in maximizing the efficiency and safety of offshore wind farms.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of SCADA systems, industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, IEC 61850), and control systems.
• Proficiency in SCADA configuration tools, database management, and PLC programming.
Additional Requirements:
• Experience in industrial control systems, preferably within the renewable energy or power sector.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices for critical infrastructure.
• Offshore certification (e.g., GWO Basic Safety Training) and the ability to work in offshore environments.
