OT Cybersecurity Specialist
Responsible for securing industrial control systems, such as SCADA, PLCs, and networked turbine operations. They assess vulnerabilities, implement security protocols, and monitor for cyber threats to protect critical infrastructure from cyberattacks. This role involves ensuring compliance with industry security standards, conducting risk assessments, and designing secure network architectures for offshore wind farms. Their expertise is essential in safeguarding operational technology from cyber risks while ensuring uninterrupted renewable energy production.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA security, and network protocols (e.g., Modbus, IEC 61850).
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, IEC 62443, and ISO 27001.
Additional Requirements:
• Offshore safety certifications (e.g., GWO Basic Safety Training) may be required.
• Hands-on experience with firewall configurations, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and vulnerability management tools.
• Ability to work in offshore environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including IT, operations, and engineering.
