Hydrodynamics Specialist

Focuses on studying and designing the interactions between wind turbine structures and ocean currents. They analyze how water flow, waves, and tidal forces impact turbine foundations, mooring systems, and floating platforms to ensure stability and efficiency. This role involves using advanced simulations, models, and field data to optimize designs and minimize structural stress caused by hydrodynamic forces. Their work is critical for improving the safety, reliability, and performance of offshore wind farms, particularly in challenging marine environments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

Additional Requirements:

Expertise in fluid dynamics, wave mechanics, and offshore system analysis.
