Construction Manager
Responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of offshore wind farm construction projects. They manage site activities, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and coordinate teams handling foundation installation, turbine assembly, and subsea cable laying. This role involves working closely with contractors, engineers, and logistics teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to technical specifications. Their expertise is critical in managing offshore construction risks and ensuring the successful delivery of wind farm infrastructure.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of offshore construction techniques, project management methodologies, and marine operations.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and construction standards (e.g., DNV, ISO, CDM regulations).
Additional Requirements:
• Experience in managing offshore wind construction projects, including foundation and turbine installation.
• Familiarity with offshore safety regulations (e.g., GWO, LOLER, MARPOL) and environmental impact assessments.
• Offshore safety certifications (e.g., GWO Basic Safety Training, OPITO BOSIET) may be required.
• Ability to work in offshore environments, lead multidisciplinary teams, and coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure project success.
