Geotechnical Engineer / Geologist
Evaluates seabed conditions to support the design and construction of turbine foundations. They analyze soil and rock properties, assess geohazards, and ensure the stability and safety of turbine structures under varying environmental conditions. Their work includes conducting surveys, collecting samples, and using advanced modeling techniques to determine the most suitable foundation types for each site. By ensuring that turbine structures are securely anchored, they play a critical role in the long-term performance and safety of offshore wind farms.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or Civil Engineering.
Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of soil mechanics, seabed analysis, and foundation engineering is crucial.
