Marine Operations Coordinator

Responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing vessel operations, logistics, and personnel movements for offshore wind projects. They coordinate the scheduling of installation and maintenance vessels, monitor weather conditions, and ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations. This role involves working closely with engineers, marine crews, and logistics teams to optimize offshore activities while minimizing downtime and risks. Their expertise is crucial in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely execution of offshore wind farm operations.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Operations, Maritime Logistics, Offshore Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of vessel operations, marine safety regulations, and offshore logistics.

• Proficiency in marine tracking systems, navigation tools, and operational planning software.

 

Additional Requirements:

• Experience coordinating offshore construction, crew transfers, and vessel scheduling.

• Familiarity with international maritime regulations (e.g., IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL) and offshore safety standards.

• Offshore safety certifications (e.g., GWO Basic Safety Training, STCW certification) may be required.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills to manage complex offshore logistics and dynamic weather conditions.
