Marine Safety Specialist
Ensures the safety of all operations conducted at sea, including vessel management, equipment handling, and offshore personnel safety. They develop and enforce marine safety protocols, oversee the safe operation of vessels, and coordinate emergency response procedures. This role also involves conducting risk assessments, monitoring weather conditions, and ensuring compliance with maritime safety regulations. Their work is essential in mitigating risks and maintaining the safety of offshore wind farm operations in dynamic marine environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Safety Engineering.
Additional Requirements:
Certification in offshore safety and experience in marine operations are often required.
